Your thoughts create your emotions. That’s why you at time feel the things you feel, because you thought something about something.

Some people seem to be wired to feel amazed by very small things. I’ve met some people who, over and over again, get amazed by the sunset, or the view, or the kindness of people.

Those people seem to be grateful just for the ability to see. And that’s all in thought. They seem to really think that the sunset is amazing each and every time. They seem to think that kindness is always to be cherished.

They seem to think that the feeling of awe is important.

You might not be able to dictate what you think, even though some people say so. What you absolutely have is the ability to be aware of your thoughts. That awareness will be key in moving towards that feeling of awe, if that’s what you want.

Don’t choose what you want think, rather choose the defaults that you feel elevates you as a person. Those defaults might get you in to spots in which you want to be.
