Giving something to the world.
There’s a great difference between consuming and creating. Apart from the obvious difference of one being one thing and the other another, they do different things with us. Tell different stories about us.
Consuming tells us about the person that they want to be passive. To eat or even be fed something. It tells us that the person feels a need and fulfils that need with stuffing something in to themselves.
Creation tells us about the person that they want to be active. To forge something out of something else, or even nothing. It tells us that the person feels a need and create their way out of that need by doing something.
Consuming makes them passive just as much as it is passive.
Creation is as active as they get.
Consuming will at best give you ideas and joy.
Creation will at best give you projects and laughter.
Consuming things is necessary to get new thoughts and patterns in to the brain. It opens up for new visions and new horizons.
Creating is necessary to make ideas come true and to fulfil oneself. It gives possibilities to create what is envisioned.
Consume what’s given by others.
Create so that others can consume.
