Getting back up.
It takes courage to get up again after feeling defeated. I rarely admire people who start running, but heavily fuck with people who pick up running after having been off it for 2, 3, 6 weeks.
There’s little reward in picking something up again, and a huge amount less than in starting something new. Both biologically, where you’re rewarded with a bunch of dopamine when doing something new that feels exciting, but just as well from your surrounding.
Celebrate failures and setbacks, but even more importantly: celebrate getting back up.
