Find the place to put your tired.

It’s not about not feeling the cold of a cold shower in the morning. Neither is it about working against it. It’s about knowing where to put the cold.

Just like marathon runners feel their tired legs, I feel the cold water hitting my back. Just like the fasting person feels their hunger, I feel my freezing. I just put it somewhere else than in my focus.

Being able to put feelings or functions like that somewhere is really cool. All of a sudden, you know where to put so many other things. The function is just the same.

In order to get to the point where you find that place to put whatever feeling in that little space, you need to practice. Practice on something mostly harmless, like running or taking cold showers in the morning.

Find the place to put your tired.
