At times, we sit on information, knowledge or experience that we’d like to share with others. It’s not always that the care package of enlightenment is receivable for the person we’d like to give it to.

At times, we need to start somewhere else, at least if we can do so. At times, people need to be given what they want instead of what they need.

That might feel counterintuitive, giving something else then what you perceive someone’s needing.

Like with all businesses and sales processes, there needs to be trust. Some people need more time to develop trust than others. That’s why we give them what they want rather than what they need.

Because when we people get what they need, they see that we can deliver. That we are accountable and to be trusted with our work. Then they’ll be able to listen to what you think they need.

And let you deliver that as well.
