You don’t need to see things in the physical world for them to be real.
A large issue with the virus right now is that people aren’t seeing it. It’s not a visible, physical thing that we can take arms at. Much like the environmental issues, or mental health, we have a tough time grasping something we can’t see.
If you were to put ten people on a line, and then I’d tell you that two of them were clinically depressed, one of them on the Autism Spectrum and another two had eating disorders, you’d never be able to point them out. Most commonly, you can’t see mental diseases, that’s why we have a tough time with them.
Now, we need to reprogram ourselves on this point regarding the Corona Virus, because it’s not as widespread in Sweden that we can physically see it yet. Few people know anyone who’s had it, and if they did it’s probably the equivalent of a mild flu.
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not real. We’re not ostriches.
